On the Homefront
So first thing I noticed today was that Youtube has hit a big stepping stone: it’s fifth birthday. It’s only been around since a month after I got my driver’s permit…no wonder I was so smart in the beginning of high school. Pretty pathetic that that was one of my first observations on my first morning back in America. My second, because I know you’re just dying to know, is that GODDAMN dimes are tiny. And so much less useful than a single dirham (which, technically, is worth less). More really insightful musings to come.
ISProcrastination
I’ve always wondered about these things and I figured the mid-research-paper-writing stage was as good a time as any to make one. I’m about as interested in writing about waste management in Morocco as I am in doing last night’s dishes (hint: not). In fact, about the only interesting thing going on in my apartment right now is the way the washing machine is “washing” my clothes: the wash cycle is dry, the dry cycle is the rinse cycle and it all takes about 2.5 hours. Experiments have revealed that clothes infrequently remain the same color, no matter the combination. In any case, procrastination = brand new tumblr account. Good thing I don’t have any addies on hand or I probably would have gone and brought back my twitter. Oh wait, did that already too. Anybody know if Digg still exists?
